Refried Beans

Spice Profile: cumin, cilantro, coriander, black lime, ancho chiles, oregano, mexican oregano, garlic, onion, black pepper

For amazing refried beans, simply hydrate 1 cup of dried beans using the directions on the bean bag (until the “drain and set aside” step). Chop a medium sized onion and sauté in olive oil until tender. Add the cooked beans, full spice pack (2 tsp) of Stock+Spice Refried Beans Spice and some extra olive oil, (1-2 TBS) to the pot. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, adding more olive oil as needed if the mixture begins to stick to the pan. Cook until you get a nice creamy, mashed texture, (30 minutes or so). Add salt to taste and enjoy!
