Maple Glazed Root Veggies

Spice profile: Basil, black peppercorns, chipotle, cinnamon, cloves, coriander, ginger, marjoram, nutmeg, oregano, parsley, sage, smoked paprika, rosemary, thyme
This is so simple and delicious.
Take:
A couple of small sweet potatoes
One small turnip
A couple of carrots
One or two parsnips
A couple of small beets
Peel as much or as little as you like—this time, I only peeled the sweet potatoes and turnip. Then, chop everything into similar-thickness slices, mixing up the cuts and shapes to make it more fun.
Place the chopped veggies in a bowl and toss with:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons Stock+Spice Maple-Glazed Root Vegetable seasoning (or your favorite spice blend)
Mix well, then spread onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Roast at 400°F for about 45 minutes, until the edges are caramelized and golden.
Remove from the oven and transfer to a mixing bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon (or more) of maple syrup, toss well, salt to taste, and serve hot.
