Asparagus Pesto

Spice Profile: basil, marjoram, oregano, rosemary, sage, thyme

Take a half-bunch of Asparagus and chop off the ends.  Then steam for 3-4 minutes until bright green and just tender.  Chop and throw into a food processor, or the cup of an immersion blender.  Add 2-3 TBS of olive oil, 2-ish gloves of garlic, and a half-cup (ish) of grated Parmesan cheese.  Blend until smooth, add salt to taste.  Consider adding Italian seasoning or other Italian herbs (optional).  Enjoy with pasta, on a pizza, in a sandwich, or any other way you please!
